Which is a better processor?

I was wondering which system has better performance? A Pentium 4 (2.4GHz, 533mhz FSB, 512kb cache) <--- had this back 3 years ago OR a Intel Celeron M (1.46 GHz, 533mhz FSB, 1MB cache)? Please help.

No brainer the 2.4 is better (even if they were the same clock speed) the Celeron is a crippled Pentium

In Linux, they both run up to 50X faster!

I would prefer to run the P4! And, definitely use http://pclinuxos.com
