If you think about how the birds can fly and we can't so why are we better? Just cuz we can build cars and bombs and we kill each other for the name of religion and stupid egos? Don't you think the bird are looking down on us (literally) by saying "look at the stupid humans they have to use vehicles to get around. Or the lions say to each other "look how weak the two legged humans are they can't run and they are sooo weak, one little scratch from my claws will cut them up" Or the Dolphins, "Those stupid humans swim slower than a turtle, what a joke!" Oh yeah we can build bombs after bombs and kill each all the time. We're the greatests aren't we! Not? Any comments?

I think animals are better because they use their minds and skills to do things mostly for survival purposes. Humans on the other hand tend to be superficial and self-centered. People tend to care more about themselves and not so much about the good of society as a whole whereas animals focus on protecting each other. You are right too about how we are limited in certain ways that animals are not. We have to create machines to imitate what animals do naturally...submarines go underwater at amazing depths like various underwater creatures, airplanes soar through the air like birds take for granted....I know I would love to have the freedom of a bird (who could fly, not a turkey or a chicken) and be able to go whereever I choose...

I think animals are probably laughing at us right now except for perhaps the turkeys we just got through devouring in large numbers in our country....

humans have more possibilities doing good but also more possibilties to do bad or create pain. With the liberty it comes also the responsibility. The question is furthermore if we suceed in meeting the requirements of a such a responsibility.
A lot of human thing are quiet similar to the animals. But you cant compare it 100%. There are points quiet different : language; learning from faults without making them with the help of our ratio and so on. Perhaps such thing animals can also manage but possibilites of thinking and learning from are more limited.
Animals may act more instinctively (At ths place it should be noticed that there are also imense differences among animals). But you can do right or wrong instinctively the same as you can with the force of your brain or ratio. By the way to say what is good and what is bad is also not allways as simple.
Ergo if you cant compare it you can neither say humans are better nor the animals. What you think?

My $0.02 (two cents worth). First you must understand humanity. An outstanding book written by Jared Diamond entitled Guns Germs and Steel is a must read.

Humans are crap. We are destroying the planet and destroying each other with stupid arguments, useless technology and hate and prejudice. GET RID OF THE HUMANS> LEAVE THE WORLD TO THE ANIMALS, THAY ARE LESS STUPID AND CUTER.
