its a really long story but...a few weeks ago i asked if i caould get a myspace. My mom said she gad to think about it. so i said ok. then today my friend got one. and i told her i wanted one. She said i was a copier and all this stuff. I said i really did ask a few weeks ago. and she doesnt believe me. so now she wont even talk to me. i wrote her a long letter...(we were talking over Yaoo messenger) and i really hope she gets it and reads it...what do i do??

Girl...you better be glad you found out you had a jealous friend now instead of later. What if it was something more serious than a myspace account? This other person has some kind of insecurity or control issues that they need to address. You will be ok. Life is about learning. She was just a leaf that fell off of your blossoming tree.

Um...I imagine that you are pretty young. Your friend needs to realize that she is definitely not the first person to have a MySpace page. There are soooo many people on there. I don't understand her reasoning that if she has a page that you shouldn't. She doesn't sound like someone I would want to be friends with. That's an awfully stupid thing to be mad about.

The way I see it, it's a free thing to do as you wish. Sounds to me that she is jealous and wants that world to herself. Don't worry about it, do what you want she will get over it or not. But you were not good friends if something like this breaks it up, and I wouldn't blame myspace for this.

don't do a damn thing. your friend has ALOT of growing up to do. EVERYBODY has a myspace acct. she already come across as someone that will be jealous over every litle thing. I wouldn't worry about it. get a myspace acct. jazz your page up real good and do you. tell her she's silly. what kind of friend would get mad because you got or want a myspace page. do she feel like you're trying to copy her? because if that's the case she has copied EVERYBODY else. tell her when she grow the hell up, to come holla at you

That's a stupid thing to get mad over and break up a friendship. She doesn't sound like a very good friend. If is going to get mad at you for something like that, it's probably not worth being friends with her over.

Forget about her. Myspace is the place for friends. No matter who gets one first, it is a place to invite all your friends and everyone is suppose to have one. You have to have one to be a friend on there. So if she is upset at you, she isn't a friend to start with. Don't worry about her. If your mom lets you get one, enjoy it and set your page to private settings. My grandkids have one and love it! I have one and enjoy mine too! Good luck!

Your friend needds to grow up. Thousands of people have MySpace... and besides, why would she not want you to have it. It soudns like your friend is childish and petty. I wouldn't worry about it.
If this is breaking up a friendship, you might want to reconsider your choices in friends.

is has nothing to do with myspace, she shouldnt have gotten mad over nothing, i mean its just a site who cares who asked first anyone can have a myspace noone is copying noone, you dont need her for a friend if she gets mad over the most simpliest stuff.
