I was thinking of getting all of my close friends gifts for christmas, but i have no idea of what to get them! There a mixture of guys and girls, so its hard to decide. Any ideas?

Gift cards are the simplest. Girls, a nice purse, perfume, or a bath gift set (probably something you can get from Bath and Body Works) is good. For guys, probably cologne or sporting goods.
The bottom line is, you know your friends better than anyone on this website knows. Consider there hobbies and interests. Between now and Christmas, you should get something.

buy what you can afford, just do not forget provide a gift recite, because most of the people will return their gift no meter what you will chose. I am keep it only things which are from person who is VERY important in my life , and I like when it is not something very expensive. so I will not fell guilty if it is not something that I am not gonna use.(I mean my children, parents....)

An invitation to a dinner planned by you where you cover their tab. Time with them, something original and relatively inexpensive.
Or as the other poster said, baked goods or chocolates.
Cd's and board games are also always good gifts... and inexpensive.

I made my friends mix CDs with songs that meant something to each of them (our graduation song, songs we used to sing on road trips) and added some homemade cookies. It was cheap and it also was a little more personalized than just buying them something for the sake of getting them a present (ie candles, body wash stuff)

get them a box of chocolates if you really cant think of what to buy. or i would suggest going down to boots and getting a gift idea which would usually contain some lil christmassy things.

give the guys gift cards to places like circuitcity , homedepot you know guy places and the girls places like target , mervyns or salons you know girl places lots of luck and have merry christmas.

For guys playstation games or dvds.
For girls clothes,make up or jewellery.
a box of chocolates will be ideal 2both...

board games, modern ones like "boxers or breifs" or tons of others would work...haha...umm..card games...CD's, DVD's, stuff from the dollar section at Target! Ask them for wishlists if needed!
