well the answer I kinda like is one, but I'm in the middle of a divorce sooooo... I'm not exactly the unbiased advice expert here.
I think that to slam a person for getting a divorce and remarried, b/c they didn't wait til death is a little harsh. Personally I would like to live until I'm rather old. If I stayed married, I would have been dead within months. Then we would have parted and he could have left for another woman, keep doing the same mistakes and kill another wifey-poo.
People change. Yeah, its a great idea to vow to stay together forever and ever, but what if your heart tells you that its just not right? Should you remain unhappy because society and religious fanatics try to dictate that u must?
I don't think that numbers are what u should be looking for in an answer. You should be looking at the reasons why some choose to get married.

there isnt a limit,,,,,if you are able to give of yourself and devote yourself to that marriage, while you are in it, then i dont think it matters how many times,,,,, if your just jumping from marriage to marriage for whatever reason, they all are too many,,,,,
