When the pad gets wet it falls apart. Just like a diaper on a baby in a pool.
Use a Tampon and avoid being thrown out of the pool.
Dump question [ I guess dump people do ask dump questions ].

No you should'nt be allowed in a swimming pool unless you have a tampon the reason being is it just takes one small drop of blood in a pool to spread the worst hepertitis really even a tampon can be of some danger to others but at a beach tampons are ok because of the large amount of water and salt.

As they say above, the pad will soak all of the water. But as long as you are in the water, your menstruation stops (as soon as you get out, you will start again). If you don´t want to use a tampon or The cup stay outside of the water. If you must swim be sure to have your towel near the exit and run to the restroom.

good luck

I wouldn't...who wants a soggy pad between their legs for an hour and a half? Anything on the pad, is going to end up in the body of water you are swimming in also...I know most pools and ponds, etc are filthy places anyway, but if you wouldn't want to swim in someone elses menstrual blood, then don't put yours out there for others to have to swim in...

No way girl. Your pad will suck up the pool water like a sponge. Then it will be no good to you, and will feel very uncomfortable. The only way to swim, when you have your period is to use a tampon.

You don't need to worry using one, it won't take your virginity, and they are actually really easy to insert. Just make sure you relax before attempting. If your nervous, the walls of your vagina will tighten up, and make it harder to put in.

Also, you can check out this link. It shows you exactly how to do it.

how can the pad absorb any blood if it is already saturated? Not to mention, the adhesive would not work. Wouldn't the pad stick out of your suit? A tampon is your only option.

no because it is getting full of water and it will disolve-kinda but it will rip into pieces and everyone will see it and ur but will be really puffy and it wont be sticky and the pool will get clogged. u can just not wear anything if u dont like to wear tampons because ur flow is not as bloody because if the water and it slows down when u are in water. as long as u aren't wearing white it is ok(only in water though) NO PADS IN WATER

you could swim with a pad but it is really uncomfortable, it can kind of explode and all this kind of jelly stuff comes out....not pleasant!! try tampons they're really not that bad the first time and once you get used to using them they are great, its like you're not on your period. Try it and good luck
