If I weren't already getting married to the woman of my dreams, I'd have no problem dating a MtF transexual. Why would I?
In case you didn't already know, statistically that's "normal" - most trannies are attracted to the same sex as the one that they feel they are.

I am bi, sorry not female however I have advice for you anyway. Your 16. at sixteen i ran into the same problems and unfortunantly its going to happen all your life untill you find the right girl for you. It does tend to scare people away when it is unwanted on their part. I never understood straight people fully but dont let it bother you. (Easier said than done, I know.) Just try to get her away from her group of friends and talk to her. (that way she feels like she has friends to run to and doesnt feel like you are cornering her.) Explain that you are sorry and that you made an unwanted advance and that you realized the mistake in that, HOWEVER, you do want her in your life in the compasity of a friend and nothing more. Unfortunantly people at that age can be cruel and not realize how much she can hurt you so thicken that skin before doing so. Plan for the worse thing she can say and if it is the opposite then its all the sweeter. It is an awkward age to be aware of your sexuality because most others at your age are not aware of theres so they feel they have something to prove to there peers and PLEASE do not take any rejection too hard it will only hurt you and there are others out there that are WAY more deserving of your companionship. Remember if she still doesnt want your friendship, then she is beneath you. Step over and move on to bigger and better cuz they are out there and closer than you may think. Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear but I hope it helps overall. Be Strong! ~Slainte~

Yup! I would totally date a transsexual if I was attracted to the person. I'm bisexual, and I feel like there are a huge variety of people in the world, and I'm not one to be picky about gender. That's just me, though, and I think everyone is entitled to their own attractions. However, I think it's horribly discriminating to dismiss a MtF transsexual as a lover or a date just on the fact that they are MtF. I would hope that more people would open their minds to the possibility of dating a transsexual, whether they are are gay, bi, or straight.

Absolutely! I'm a bisexual woman, but even if I were a lesbian, I'd completely consider dating a transwoman. I'd measure her up against other woman, as one of them, and the fact that she was born as a man would mean nothing to me.
Personally, I find it *utterly* disgusting the way some lesbians react and discriminate against transwomen with their 'wimmin born wimmin' signs and all that. Now, if a transwoman still has her male genitalia, I can understand a lesbian not being interested in her as a lover- hey, that's her choice (I wouldn't mind, but that's just me). But if she has her surgery and is a woman, then it's terribly unfair.
There are a lot of open-minded bisexual or lesbian women who like and would accpet a transwoman in her bed; tell your friend to go for it, and send him my best wishes!

No offense, but I want a woman that was born a woman, physically born a woman. I would never date a transexual.

For me, it's about the person and not the parts. In fact, one of the first women I asked out after moving out and coming out is trans. Then again, I'm trans and lesbian myself.

I'm a bi female and I'd have no problem with it. I'm more interested in personality.
