I believe in 73 there was a metal tag usually on the cowl or firewall area with the paint code and equipment codes on it. The code will be 2 digits following the letters "PNT"

If you don't find it on the inside of the door. Look inside fenderwells, under the hood and places a repaint prb wouldn't cover thats only if it wasn't in extreme detail...

I think you can find it on the metal plate inside the door drivers side where all the other information about the car is. Check. I know that information is located there on my truck.

there is a tag on the drivers door jamb, or a sticker in the glove box which will have the paint code on it.

look inside the door to see if the sticker is still there and it will give you a paint code #

Black Cherry, or Madiera maroon (same thing) Chevy orange or hugger orange (Again, same thing) Cinnamon, or forest green.
