Miss about 15 minutes of Grey's Anatomy last night...?

Due to my TiVo switching over to record another show at 10:00 (I promptly stopped the recording and flipped back to Grey's Anatomy to catch the last 10 minutes!!), I missed about 15 minutes of the episode. I had paused it earlier on and so I was 15 minutes behind at 10 when it flipped to CBS. The last thing I saw was Burke and Christina's fight. When I flipped back, Christina was watching as Burke got reamed out by Dr. Weber. What did I miss in between? It seemed to me that either Burke confessed to having a tremor to Weber or George squealed...couldn't quite figure it out. Also, was Burke suspended? fired? are him and Christina over??

Okay, so Burke goes into surgery with Christina on this chic with a piece of glass lodged in her heart. After they remove the piece of glass they put her on a bypass machine. Meanwhile, Dr. Grey comes into the OR saying that Dr. Hahn needs an extra set of hands on another procedure. So Burke leaves to help and tells Christina to stay with the patient still on the bypass machine. She tries to follow him anyway and he yells for her to stay. He's gone for a while and the patient needs to come off bypass so she pages another doctor to take the patient off. Burke makes it back in time to take the patient off bypass and everything looks good but then the patient pops a stitch. Burke has been flexing his hand throughout all of this making Christina super nervous so she tries to help and he yells at her that he doesn't need her help. While all this is going on the short Dr. that just had a baby arrives to answer the page. Dr. Burke asks HER to help him with the patient and Christina walks out covered in blood. Next we see Burke going into Webber's office. Webber says 'We need to talk' and Burke says 'Yes we do'. Burke closes the door and you see Christina sitting there in the office. So we don't know what this means for Burke but it's clear that everyone now knows what was going on and Christina and Burke are over. I'm sure I forgot some stuff but that's the gist of it.

Cristina is separated from Burke, and between that and the arrival of Dr. Hahn, she is freaking out that George told the Chief all that has been going on. As it turns out, this wasn't the case at all: the Chief wants to retire, hire Dr. Hahn in Burke's place, and recommend Burke to the board to become the new Chief of Surgery. Unfortunately, Burke feels guilty, and he and Cristina do a lot of yelling that they're sure to regret, each blaming the other for the surgery situation. By the time they are performing a surgery later that day, he sends her to the other side of the table and eventually dismisses her. That's all she can handle and, covered in her bloody surgical scrubs, she goes to meet with the Chief and spill all the beans. Although Burke shows up later himself to talk to the Chief, it's too late: Burke seems to be in a lot of hot water, and Cristina is out a place to live.

To add to Icing and Muffin....When Burke walked into the chief's office after being summoned, he turned around and found Christina already sitting there.

Later, Christina didn't want to go home. She sat on a bench in front of the hospital and whined like she always does. Finally she left and when she walked in the apt. Burke was in the bedroom. Their eyes met and without saying a word she walked toward him. As she reached the bedroom door, the camera angle switched to over Burke's shoulder and without breaking their gaze, he silently shut the bedroom door in her face.

That's how the episode ended.

The baby was found in the school bathroom trash can and those 2 little girls were with 2 other little girls and they were the last ones to be seen leaving the bathroom so they knew the baby belonged to one of them. Thankfully the girl came forward and told them it was hers. I don't know if the baby survived they kind of just stopped the story there. The vet said he didn't care what happened and he didn't want to know that they never said they were exclusive so whatever she did it didn't matter and he still wanted to be with her. They didn't say how addison go the black panties. I was wondering about the panties too I mean like where did she get them from. wasnt that the best G.A. ever ok not the best but it was really goooooooddddd!!!!

Christina and Burke fought, then Burke was going to tell Derek but 2 surgeries came up so he went in. Christina was there to help but he told her he didnt need her help. He did fine. Christina left the OR when it was over and then you see Burke going into the Cheifs office to talk to him but Christina was already there and had told him....about Burke, his hand, the whole deal.

Cristina was the one who told the chief about his tremors. Burke was about to confess but Cristina beat him too it.

Him and Cristina, i guess, are over but no way of knowing if he was suspended or fired.

The show starts out with Christina worried about keeping this secret and it backfiring. She sees herself covered in blood walking down the OR corridor talking about secrets. And she sees herself in her red underwear having sex with Burke.

Meanwhile Meredith and Derek are in bed trying to keep it slow working cross word puzzles when he tries to get hot with her and Christina comes jogging in and tells Derek to get out. He grudgingly leaves. Christina gets into bed with Meredith and statrs talking to her. Meredith wants to know since when does Christina jog? Christina asks Meredith a hypothetical about Derek robbing a bank and would Meredith keep her secret. Meredith tells Christina that she can tell her anything and it will be fine. Christina not willing to share Burkes secret tells Meredith that she sometimes runs without Meredith, (a reminder of the last time they jogged and Christina wound up having a miscarriage that day.)

At the hospitalChristina is trying to feel Burke out about George. Burke is still of the mind that everything is okay.

George is having his day off.

Suddenly, everyone gets paged. Bailey has all of the interns helping out with trauma as there has been a car accident. Yang wants to be free to help Burke. Bailey says if he calls for her then she is free. Bailey sens Izzie to watch over George's father.

Izzie finds out the Dr. Haulk is taking over for Burke at George's request and is wondering why.

Back in Trauma, Callie, Bailey, Meredith, Christina and Alex are all helping patients. A bloody woman walks in and Addison goes to talk to her and she falls in Addison's arms. When the lady is placed on a gurney she is handed over to Sloane and Alex but seconds later she reveals she is pregnant and that brings back Addison. She starts barking out orders and Mark gets arroused.

Meanwhile Christina learns from meredtith that Haulk is in the hospital and she wonders who the VIP patient is. Christina gets away from Trauma for a second and sees George greeting Haulk.

Later there is a little jawing back and forth about who is better between her and Burke but nothing more than a one liner.

Christina is back on Burke worried what will happen next as richard picks up Haulk and takes her to his office to see if she would consider switching hospitals.

Over in George's father's room they have learned from Izzie that Geoge has slept with both Meredith and Callie and that Callie likes to walk around naked. They learn this when they think George has been sleeping with Haulk. They figured that is why he wanted her and not Burke. They were also curious why he isn't sleeping with Izzie. Izzie is curious about the burke thing so she goes to see George.

Back in trauma, the this older lady ahas learned that her husband had a preexisting condition that caused the accident and that he needs surgery. Derek will be performing that surgery.

The preganant lady is having difficulties with her blood pressure and it is effecting the baby. Alex is cleaning wounds and Mark is sewing them up. The xrays come back and the woman has a huge piece os glass puncturing her heart.

Meanwhile, Christina and Burke are still arguing what to do about George. Burke says that since Haulk is there it is no problem. Christina worries that he is going to tell the Chief about Burke.

This is when the chief asks Preston to come with him to his office.

George find himself talking to Callie about his father, again and he brings up the fact that they are broken up. She talks like she still cares. He brings up Sloane.

Apparently the man's condition has complicated itself and now he needs two surgeries. Derek will do the surgery to his head but he needs a cardiovascular surgeon to handle the other problem
Callie walks in and asks Meredith to step outside and talk. Meredith says she will find her later.

George an Izzie talk to each other about the surgery. She wants to know why the change. Burke is the better surgeon. George turns to Christina who is just walking by and tells her "would you like to tell Christina why I changed surgeons?" Christina says nothing.

Burke is talking to Christina after leaving Richard and she is still thinking George told on him and not Haulk is head of Cardovascular surgery. He told her that Haulk will be head of Cardio. He also told her that he will be the new chief. Richard plans on retiring. Burke is worried about the lie that is going on at this time. Christina is worried that it could all be over. Burke is thinking it could still work. Christina is thinking he can't operate without her. Burke is thinking she is wrong and his problems are diminishing. Christina is thinking she is protecting him. He is thinking it is the otherway around. They are both wondering who it was that came up with the idea of teming up and keeping this a lie in the first place.

In the locker room, Meredith and Izzie are talking about the Haulk situation when Callie comes in and throws Meredith against the lackers talking about how she kept the whole panties thing to herself but Meredith squealed about Sloane. Izzie tries to break things up having to get in the middle saying Meredith is much smaller than Callie. Meredith says "I told him nothing. You never told me it was Sloane." Callie backs off realixzing she is right. The thought is now that Sloane told him. Actually Sloane was talking about it in front of Alex and Alex told George. Callie will have to go beat them up.

Derek catches Preston in his office and asks him to scrub in on the man's surgery. Meanwhile, he is told he needs to remove the piece of glass from the ladies heart. He tells Derek to get haulk to do the man's surgery and says he and yang will do the lady's surgery.

Back in George's father's room, his father is telling George that he wants to wait a day and use Burke in stead. He also meantions the fact that he knows who george has been sleeping with. George goes off on Izzie saying "What have you been telling him?" The father thinks George is wrong for behaving this way. George brings up the Denny thing in front of his dad and that Izzie is on probation. She walks out.

At the elevators Bailey is leading a crew with the woman to to the OR when the man's wife asks what is happening. When she finds out that the lady needs surgery she tearfully explains it is all her fault. Her daughter didn't want her father to drive because she suspected he had a problem. The wife gave him back the keys to the car. Bailey took the woman to the Police to explain.

Alex is standing there listening to the conversation and is think every body has a surgery to do but me.

On the surgical floor, Yang and Burke scrub up for the heart surgery. It is going fine. In the other room Derek's patient is having problems. He and Meredith are working on his Brain but Haulk is having trouble with his aorta. It is tearing. She needs help.

Burke refuses Christina's help withthe whipple stitch in the heart telling her to go to the other side of the table, proving that he can do it on his own. He finishes stitching the woman's heart and is about to take her off bypass when Meredith comes into the OR and tell him Haulk need him to assist. Christina tells him he can't go. He tells her he is going to go. She say but the lady is coming off bypass. He says the lady can wait. She starts to follow him. He tells her to go back. Meredith wonders what is the matter. Christina tells her he has a problem. Meredith goes back to the man. Christina ges back to the lady.

In the man's surgery Preston is doing okay but he keeps having to clinch his fist to keep it working. Meredith keeps staring at him. Derek is wondering what she is doing. She keeps staring. Derek asks Preston if he has a problem. Preston denies anything is wrong.

Meanwhile in the other OR, Yang is worried they have been on bipass too long. She finally decides that it has been too long and tells the nurses to page a doctor to take tis woman off bipass.

Shortly there after Burke returns to the room. The man's surgery went fine. It is time to take the woman off bypass, but as soon as they try his stitches explode in Yang's face. Burke is quick to react saying this is no big deal. It happens all the time. the heart wall was good. He can fix this.

Bailey walks into the room and asks who paiged her about a bipass? She wants to know if she can scrub in.

Preston has reheparinized the patient and put her back on bypass. He invites Bailey to scrub in and help out. This of course frees up Christina to take off her blood covered clothes.

Once again you see her walking down the OR aisle covered in blood like in her thoughts at the beginining of the show.

Later you see her sitting and thinking as Haulk walks by and tells her how lucky she is to be learning from such a great doctor as Preston. She also tells her not to tell him that even though he won't believe she said it.

After the surgery Preston goes to Richard to confess but in a mirror image to the time he told Richard he was sleeping with Yang, Christina was already in the office confessing to the Chief.

Yang walks by Bailey at the Trauma desk on her way to go change. Bailey looks up but says nothing. Richard is still yelling at Burke in his Office.

Addison is talking to Alex about how the lady lived and about how Alex is still a good person. She only hopes that Sloan doesn't beat that out of him. They share a romantic look but it is short lived.

Callie tries to explain to George that Sloane was just a fling when they were broken up but that she knew the next morning that she regretted it and that she only cared for him. George was not buying it.

As Meredith was ready to drive home, she found Christina siting on a bench. They spoke and Christina told her she was halfway out of the lot when she realized that she is afraid to go home. Meredith said she is there for her. Christina told her that they both hypothetically robbed the bank . It wasn't just him.

At the house, Izzie walks in on george eating cold spaghetti. He tells her it is his father and he has to do what he can to save him He apologizes for talking about Denny. She tells him he can no longer speak to her about Denny. She says they should change the subject. She sits real close to him on the couch and takes his spaghetti and eats it. She says maybe tomorrow I will let you apologize.

Up stairs Derek and meredith are in bed, again and, He is upset she did not tell him about Preston. It was his surgery too. She tells him that she only found out in the hallway. He says but it was his sugery. She says butyou cleared him and you were his surgeon as well. Christina was there fore him all this time when you were not. They decide they need to get closer so they sart to have sex.

Over at the apartment, Christina finally comes home and she slowly walks up to where she can see Burke over next to the bed. It looks like he might have been packing a hanging bag. she takes another step forward and he closes the bedroom door in her face.
