Please, for the love of basketball, quit asking "who will become the next MJ?"
The answer is NO ONE WILL.
And it's not based solely on talent but Jordan led the renaissance in sports marketing between Nike and Gatorade. It is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to duplicate his marketing because he was the first, and by far the most marketable person to do it.
MJ was clutch in a way we'll probably never see again. Kobe might be the scorer, but nowhere near as clutch or the equivalent in image. Regardless of the innocence in the whole rape deal from a couple seasons ago, that will always hang over his head.
Dwayne Wade maybe has the clutch, but can never equal the marketing appeal that Jordan had during the 80's and 90's.
That being said my favorite team is the Pistons and all time favorite player is HOF'r Joe Dumars for the constant class he showed every game, every season.

Next MJ? ROFL! Never,ever,ever,ever,ever,ever,ever. Stop waiting he will not be replaced. and dont even think kobe( kobe4life guy) hes not even the best player in the league. Sorry i dont remember anyone questioning who was the king in mjs day, everyone knew. Kobe aint even best in his generation. He is and will end up being top 20 alltime, i can give him that, but nothing he does really stands out from the other great 2 guards in the league right now. Kobe can keep studying every jordan tape trying to copy the exact way he talks, walks, everything, but NOBODY buys it. We all see him as a imitator who isnt likable and has no personality of his own. Who is Kobe? Hed be respected much more if he dropped the jordan imitator act and just acted like himself. This is why people like Lebron 10x more than bryant, he is himself, has his own personality.

My favorite players are Iverson and Ginobili. And my favorite team is Spurs. And I think no one right now in the NBA who can be the next MJ. MJ is unique! And if you are unique, it means that you are the only one!
