He will most likely sign with the Dodgers or retire. He has no reason to play with any other team anymore because he was gonna just retire as a cub as he started as one. But since he got traded to the Dodgers, he has every incentive to return to a team that has a great opportunity to win their division and make the postseason.. He will be playing on a competive team that has just resign Nomar Garciaparra and signed Juan Pierre. The Dodgers' GM, Coletti, is working like a mad man, to improve the team. Also, the way he played in a Dodger uniform indicates that he enjoyed being in Los Angeles as he turned his game up a notch down the stretch. The Los Angeles fans love him.

I heard a humor yesterday that both Maddox and Galvin might return to the Braves. Why I couldn't say because Galvin only needs 10 wins for 300. He said I was going to retire once he got the 10 wins. Still, he stands a better chance of getting those wins in NY plus a chance at the playoffs and world series. He won't have that with the Braves. Maddox will win more games in LA than with the Braves as well. The Braves are heading for a few lean years before they get back to where they were.

He's a free agent. He hasn't gotten any offer that we know of but could resign with the Dodgers. He really doesn't have anything to prove. He's a Hall of Famer whether he's on a winning team or not when he retires.

He probaly will play, but he most likely will not go with a winning team, and what do mean "The World Series Champ Cardinals".
The Dodgers made it to the playoffs.

He hasn't announced his retirement, and he had a decent (not great, but decent) year in '06 so he should be able to find someone to play for. He's a free agent, though, and hasn't signed with anybody yet.
