I understand hunting deer for they taste great, but I just don't see why bears are being hunted...

I hunt for bear with a bow. I use the whole bear. We eat the meat and tan the hide. Bear makes great pepperoni stix

People eat bears too. The kind of hunters that hunt deer like the taste of most wild meat like bears, elk, antelope...
some hunt only for the trophy, but some really do eat them.

I think that people hunt them because of their fur.They can make thousands of dollars from just one bear,and some people eat them too.

Some people like the fur. Some people like the danger and thrill of it. Some people just like to kill animals for prestige.
