There are a lot of medical and scientific studies about this. In essence some bras may impair lymphatic flow especially when there are red creases and grooves on the bodies caused by the bras. It's a matter of wearing the right bras for your body (they should not constrict). In their book "Dressed to kill", the authors Singer and Grismaijer report about a link between bras and hightened breast cancer risk. Their research is confirmed by quite some medical reports but it's not only wearing the wrong bras that may cause cancer, it may just add to it.

It depends on their comfort level. Some women have very sensitive breasts, and need to keep them supported, even when they are sleeping. In general it is best to not use a bra for sleeping if you can. Your skin needs a break, and wearing a bra all the time will not let this happen.

As an alternative to wearing a bra to bed, you can use the method I do. I sleep on my side, with a second pillow, and hug it close to my body. The pillow supports my 'upper' breast, while the mattress supports the 'lower' one. With practice, I've can roll over in my sleep and keep my pillow with me.

I think this is a matter of personal preference. Personally, I do not care to sleep in a bra. I like the comfort of freedom from the bra after all day long. God bless****

if you feel you must sleep with a bra on i think it should only be a jogging bra, definitely nothing under wire. but i real think that its not a good idea because they are restrictive and might restrict blood flow, or you could get pressure sores for the same reason... i dont see any reason to wear one, there is no gravity per say at work when you are laying down... i dont know i think its good just to let them be free at night...even when i was breast feeding i couldnt wear a bra because of the pressure it put on me, i would be soaked in the morning if i did...

Women were not born with bras, bras are for the attraction of a partner. eye candy. women have survived since we arrived or were placed here without bras for a long time.
Should is a variable word, it is subject to an opinion not a fact. Can a woman, yes she can, Will a woman, her choice, in most countries, should a woman, that is a matter of personal opinion.
I stand with fact, they are in no way a needed item,if they were, women would be born with bras on, or develop them dureing Puberty.
Its eye candy, I like a hot babe in a frilly bra. and I like to take them off, so yeah, you should.

Sleep Bra? Is that so the Puppies can rest?
1. If you always lay on the Hooters in bed, especially the Biggies,
will they go flat after so much abuse?
2. The sweater Bunnies should be free to roam, breath, and float
as they are resting.
3. The twins shouldn't be confined in solitary confinement 24/7.
4. The Boobie traps should not be allowed after dark.
5. In my bed, nope!!
6. How you suppose to cuddle up and help support the troupes
when they're all cooped up?
7. Remember they are toys and like to have fun to. Let-em loose.

i read somewhere that it contributes to breast cancer
because wearing a bra does not allow the lymph (a cleaning fluid in your body) to circulate naturally. i have no proof nor did i do a medical study but have seen several times info that points to wearing bras 24 hrs a day being a contributor to breast cancer.
again, i can't be sure, you would have to really do research but
it makes sense you would want the lymph to circulate.

It is a matter of preference. I think it is better not to, simply because a bra can restrict the flow of fluid through your lymph nodes, which can in turn hamper your imune system and may cause breast cancer or cysts.

my boyfriend insists that by wearing one, I'm cutting off circulation, so there may be some truth in that...

However I feel very comfortable in a bra all night, only thing is that you tend to go through bras at a much more rapid pace than if you were to let your girls breath for a bit.

My aunt swears up and down that by wearing a bra, gravity can be thwarted, so there's my answer.

It may be bad for you, but if vanity is your goal than w/e, wear the bra

Try it, and find out for yourself. I can't think of anything less comfortable, nor of any good reason for doing so, but feel free to disagree -- after you've given it a try.
