any ideas on where we should stay? what we should do? what about the food? as all of us are muslims + undergrads students.. gimme some ideas people.. thanks~

Well, you can visit Orchard Road on Christmas Eve. Other places you can visit are Sentosa Islands, Esplanade, Singapore zoo (for Night Safari) and Merlion. You can also visit Vivocity (located at Harbour Front) which is the largest shopping mall in SE Asia. There are a lot of shopping malls to be visited as well.
Muslim food shouldnt be an issue as all the fastfood restaurants (except Subway) are Halal. All the food courts have a Muslim food outlet.
Regarding stay, there are a lot of Hotels which you should be able to find it online.
If want some Nightlife, you can Clarke Quay. Clarke Quay is famous for its night clubs.

Maybe stay at hostel...many around Beach road or cheap budget hotel...many around Geylang. But be careful of red-light destrict area. Food shall not be a problem. You can find muslim food stall easily in any food court or hawker centre. They are cheap and good and there are many varieties. Maybe visit to the Singapore Zoo at Mandai, Sentosa, Vivocity (Shopping Centre), and have a view of the Christmas Lightings and shopping along Orchard Road. You may also like to visit the Mount Faber during the weekend, there is 'snow' in the night.

Maybe you can try this place at Joo Chiat...it'll be near gelyang serai(malay village) so you can get food easily...

take a walk on the trail by the ocean
DO NOT LITTER .. .DO NOT JUMP UP AND DOWN ON CARS OR SPRAY PAINT THEM.
