I think that my husband was cheating on me. He keeps his cell phone close by and does not even let the kids see it. He was coming in late at night, getting out of bed and saying he was going to the store to get something to drink and would be gone for about one to two hours. I would call him and he would not answer his cell phone. He has had three four female friends that he did not tell me about, but I found out about them, by snooping through his stuff. I had found text message that have been odd. He denies that he had an affair with these ladies. He says that they are just female friends and that I am just jealous. I want to believe him, but my suspicions tell me that there is more to the story. He says that he has said things to them that were not appropriate but still denies any sexual contact. I told him that he had to cut off all relation with them or I woul d leave him. He is an assistant pastor and he agreed. We have not had any contact from them in about 6 months.

Any time a spouse changes his normal patterns there is reason to worry..Apparently he changed lots of them so there should be real concern

He is an assistant Pastor? Wow that makes me want to go to church and pray. Here's what you do you hire and investigator to follow him and take pictures (because he is cheating) then you file for a divorce and request lots of alimony (since he is having lots of affairs) Then one Sunday (without telling him and before you file for a divorce) you go up in front of the congregation at church to tell your sad story (this is really good) about your husband the assistant pastor who has been having an affair and how you have been praying that God will get you through this. This is the best payback ever.

P.S. he is having an affair, several of them.

I know that it is hard to do, but I have had a similar problem before. The truth is, you need to believe that your husband, the man you chose to spend the rest of your life with, is telling you the truth and you need to drop the suspicions. If you cant do that then you need to sit down and talk things over with your husband until you can trust and believe him. I dont believe that people get married to get divorced so those are my suggestions.

He probably was cheating but that is all over now you said for 6 months!
If any of that stuff happens again
kick him out,you are better than me if he were my husband I wouldn't give him another chance
he would have been kicked to the curb at the start
I don't like liars & cheats how can you trust them??

Well to me just because he is an assistant pastor doesn't mean he don't cheat. You really never know. To me I really think he should of told you about it. And it is the first thing that comes in mind in the woman that he is cheating. I think he was messing around with them. Men love to have back up's. That is what my brother and my cousin's told me. But to me it was kind of wrong to snoop around in his stuff. But you gotta do what you gotta do you know. Well I think he did. I think he did. Well I hope you and him worked it out. xoxo. -Diamond-

Yes, he is cheating on you. If he suddenly changes himself such as clothes and hair and he wasn't like this before, he has certainly changed for someone and it's not you. Next time follow him with a video camera so you have proof of that low life. And check his phone while he is in the shower.

Bring your doubts to the Pastor he assists and ask for an intervention.

His behavior is not appropriate to his position and your marriage needs help.

Yah, he's cheating on you. It shouldn't take that long for him to get a drink. And why doesn't he just find something around the house to drink? Like water?
