I were in India last month and I stayed in the same hotel where Pit and Angelina Jolly were staying. Many reporters and fans of the actress waited for hours and days to get her glimpse but in vain. Their body guards were such ruthless characters that they abused anyone trying to get near the couple. Angelina charges a hugh amount if someone wants to take her picture and then claims that she donates the money into charity. After seeing all this with my very own eyes I have started hating her. Why do such famous people forget that they are also ordinary mortals?

They act that way because people treat them like they are somehow above everyone else. They have photographers following them; people asking for their autograph; people asking to take pictures with them, and people just wanting to look at them.
The fact that you wrote this question and people answer goes to further substantiate that.

They forget because they are allowed to. Celebrities for the most part, are insulated, out of touch people who have begun to believe their own publicity. They tend to think their opinion is why they are famous and not something as shallow and fleeting as good looks. These two are a cut above in their nuttiness in my opinion. I rarely take any celebrity seriously, they receive far too much credibility.
