Because their parents are retarded and lazy. They think up one name, then just pick one that rhymes for the next kid. It's stupid to name kids the same name with just a letter different...I can't stand that! I also can't stand parents who think they have to name their twins with the same letter...such as Michael and Matthew or Sarah and Sabrina.......HATE IT!

I always said if I were to have twins, they would have completely opposite names. When pregnant with my son, I knew he would be named Keegan...I thought about if I so happened to have been pregnant with twins, what would I call it? Teagan?! I think not....that's so stupid. I wanted to have twin boys named Keegan and Jack!

I know lots of twins and their names do not rhyme. Parents look for a nice sound and meaning to a name. Probably the fact that they twins names rhyme is a coincidence, or the parents are weird.

Hello,

I have twin girls and their names do not rhyme. But, each name has 4 letters and two letters in the middle of their names that match.

I had never even thought about having rhyming names. I was looking for Hebrew names.

But yes, many parents think it is adorable to have rhyming names for twins. My twins are fraternal and I dress them alike though. And, everywhere I go, people look at my twins and ask if they are identical, I say no, fraternal.

Hope this helps you.......................................................... :-)

Because people think its cute. But it kinda like identity theft for the kids. Note to people: if you are going to have twins, name them something that doesn't rhyme!

Because the parents think it's cute. However, my sister has twins and she deliberately did not name them with rhyming names!

I guess that is just how things are I personally don't like the idea of having rhyming names. I think that it takes away the baby's personality.

Because their mother/father thinks its cute, or can't think of anything better. (It first pops in their head as twins so twin names.)
