i dont think its necessarily betrayal unless you are letting her make a fool of herself...that is if she still laughs and hangs out with them even if they make fun of her later. maybe you should mention something

No, you are not betraying her. You are being kind to her, provided that when you hear others say mean things about her you take up for her.

I would personally tell my friend if some body was saying something mean about my friends and something good, a true friend wouldnt backstab u~

No because you may hurt her. I would put the comments in your own words as small suggestions. She may get the information and not the hurt.
