I like to vacuum first. That way any dust that is blown around or escapes the vacuum is cleaned up when I wet dust.

Use your vacuum attachment to dust with and do all your cleaning at the same time.

vacuum, first. as you vacuum, the exhaust kicks up more dust that will settle on your freshly dusted furniture.
