yes honda's are very good cars if you are buying 98 that is a good deal, honda cars do not depriciate, service intervals are as follows trans fluid every 30k,oil and filter every 3750,a/c filter every 30k,brake fluid every 45k,t-belt is every 7 years or 105,000 miles which ever comes first, and brake fluid flush every 45k, hopr this is helpfull, also rotate tires every 7k to get the best use out of tires

In addition to the maintenance record, check for rust, especially around the wheel wells. If there are no proper maintenance records, then I wouldn't buy it. If you check everything out as indicated, then I'd buy it. Don't know time intervals for replacing parts. Ask a dealer. My daughter's 2000 Civic with almost 100,000 miles, has had only the muffler replaced. My Accords (4 of them to date) have had very few inexpensive parts replaced and some of them only after 100,000 miles.

Definably Yes!
I personally own an Accord and they have great engine life! What you would need to check now is the conditions of the car, is the upholstery clean? Clean title? Dents & Scratches? but if the car is in fair conditions I would definably go for it. Hope the info helps.

first you have to see if the timing belt and 100,000 service has been done, if it hasnt, walk way and depending on how you take care of the car if you buy it, it could last anywhere between 1 mile and 100,000 more but you will spend about on average $1000 to maintain it from here on out

No. You should buy a scooter and use the extra money to ride the bus or taxi on rainy days.
