I'm considering going back to college for another degree, one that would require me to take at least two statistics classes. The problem is that I'm really bad at math, I had hardly any math education in high school and took foreign language instead of math classes for my other degree. I barely learned algebra and will have to review it. For anyone who has taken statistics in college, do you think that I can teach myself enough and get enough tutoring to do well in these classes?

I got 'B' s and 'C's mostly in high school and have actually found college to be easier. I actually found more material to 'click' than in high school. I'm not good in math either. But when I took stats my professor let use TI calculators and showed us the shortcuts to get the answers. Its not that bad...

Look into if your school accpets CLEP exam credits. If they do there might be a CLEP exam you take to avoid the class. A CLEP exam is a nationwide multiple choice exam offered to college students to in about 30 different areas/test and if your score a 50 or better you get credit for the class at your respective school. I did it with 3 classes at my school.

Generally, any math or science degree rarely has any writing, except for the occasional lab report. That being said, you will still have to take English Comp 1 and 2 which are writing intensive and you will also have to take social science courses which can also be writing intensive. However, chances are your school has acommodations for someone with disabilities such as those. You can get help and what not. You just have to ask. Best of luck to you

well, i suggest try an online class instead because you can learn in the privacy of your own home.

& try to get SAT review books that have to do with math, to learn the basics that you missed out on in highschool

one of the main reasons you are bad at math is because you have avoided it all your life. if you actually do it, you will get better.
of course you can do it. but you might have to work hard.
