Traditional:
30x10.6=300+18=318

Alternate:
must be a whole number b/c .6x a mutiple of ten cannot end in a decial (eliminates 81.2)

aproximat the last part 30x10 ~ a little bigger than 300. Your remaining choices "318.0 and 318" are the same (unless you are looking at scientific notation, its been a while since then)

Come on now. How do you find an area? Imagine a square 10 feet by 10 feet...how many little squares would that make? 100!

That's 10 x 10 = 100

So how do you get the area of a rectangle? Same way!

Rectangle l and w are the lengths of the rectangles sides (length and width). 30.0inx10.6in=318in^2
