I'm not asking you about sexual oritentation, I'd just like to comment on something.

First of all, I'm a heterosexual but what amazes me is that I find "female soul" so much more beautiful than a man's. If we're talking in terms of friendship, women can give you so much tenderness. I am only attracted (romantically) to men but I wonder why this is. My explanation is that it's because I'm a girl too and I perceive the same in my female friends and knowing that gives me comfort.

I guess it's the same with men. They feel "spiritually" closer ro each other.

thanx

i think it is because women tend to place themselves in other people's shoes and truely understand how they are feeling..... men don't have this ability...atleast not the ones i have ever met in my life!!!! women tend to be more compassionate about others peoples feelings also whereas men aren't. I am not man bashing at all cause i love my man but women are more beautiful on the inside because they think with their heart not their second head!!!!! lol

Perhaps nature (or God if you prefer) made women more nurturing, responsive and empathetic than men because historically speaking it was the female who had to care for the infant and child during long years of development rather than the male. Similarly, the male was gifted with more physical prowess, aggression and concentrated focus because it was the male who had to hunt for food and defend the group. It's the old story about men being from Mars and women from Venus. Fact of the matter is we're both from Earth but somewhat differently differentiated because (at least early in human history) we had different main functions to perform. It is only natural that a member of either gender would be able to better understand/appreciate the special uniqueness of his/her own gender. Many gays and lesbians have been further blessed with the ability to empathize beyond their own particular gender and that gender's usual limitations. I believe this goes a long way toward explaining, for example, the somewhat paradoxical friendship attraction of straight women for gay males and vice versa. Many women feel that gay males make better friends than straight men. And many gay men can relate more easily to women than to straight men.

I think you just answered your own question... If you were even asking one. What you just wrote there though is making me think a lot. For the longest time I thought that there was a chance I was romantically attracted to women, but I wasn't sure. What you just said makes a lot of sense. I guess I'm just more able to relate to them than I am to men and that got me confused. I know what I'm saying here may not make much sense, but you just helped me answer a very important question about myself, so thank you. Good Luck with your question!!!

Women are generally nicer and sweeter then men. But gay men are as nice as women a lot of the times. That might sound like a stereotype but its true to a large extent. Also a lot of men are just **** heads. I am a man but I am more like a homo. I like girls though.

When you are spiritual inclined, you feel closer to the spiritual essence of fellow human being , not their gender.
