Taurus men or woman are not typically shy...
however, they usually quiet with people they don't know very well.
you need to get them on there own turf (like a bookstore, a restaurant, etc.) and around people they know very well.
Then you can't shut them up.
As for flirting, as a Taurus myself, I suck at flirting (we are not overtly sexual). But if someone can engage in a good conversation with me, then I will filirt with them that way.

The taurus men that I have been with they start out as loveable as can be until the day they turn on you and start accusing you of everybody including the mail man. So watch yourself with a taurus

Hmm I recently went on a date with a Taurean...
He was pretty shy at work when we saw eachother - even blushed a few times. I think after a few drinks he loosened up and he has not kept his hands off me since... hehe... alcs always works wonders! Sometimes you just need it once to break the ice :)

generally yes. they like routine. and security. so that would mean they are shy. until they really trust you.
