At 16 wks pregnant - I am starting to get a hard belly. However, it seems that the top of my belly (Above my belly button) is getting harder, and pushing out more. Below my belly button my "pooch" is also growing, but is a little softer and less pronounced. It feels as if my uterus is moving up and pushing all my insides up. (I cannot eat as much lately either). Has anyone else expirienced this during pregnancy?

Also - The reason that I stated I was eating less is because I am assuming my stomach is getting squished in the process of my uterus moving up... Not because I am scared something is wrong with my eating habits. :)

That's normal... your uterus is turning and moving up in order to make room for the growing baby. By the last few weeks, you'll wonder where on earth all your internal organs went to- it seems like there couldn't possibly be room for the baby and what you think used to take up that room inside you before. You may start to get frequent heartburn as well, so keep some antacids on hand. The more room that the baby starts to take up, the less room you have to eat and digest. Now is when it starts to get exciting... you can see the "pooch" and feel the baby moving. Enjoy!

As your baby grows inside you there will be many weird changes in your body. The only time you worry about it is if you see blood or there is bad pain. The hardness of the tummy is completely normal. Morning sickenss is also very normal. A lot of women eat very little until their last trimester.
