trying to figure out when the test came up positive whats the minamum sorry can't spell. minamum weeks she could possibly be. to bring things short i've been with this girl for 2 3 months and want to make sure it's mine.

With a home pregnancy test it can detect the HCG two weeks after the sperm meet the egg. Depending on the test it could detect the HCG sooner.
Once you take the test the rule of thumb is after 10 minutes throw it away because it can change (rarely but can) after that. If you get a negative wait 2 days then test again. HCG doubles about every 2 days. the cheepo tests work just as good as any. With both of my pregnancy's i got correct answerer's on dollar tree tests. Also negatives when I wasn't preggo.
AND... A line is a line. No matter how faint if it has color other then Grey its positive. Grey lines are evaporation lines.

It took me a week after my period was late-even using an early pregnancy test-you know the ones that say they can be used as early as five days before your missed period?
Each woman is different and each woman produces different amounts of hcg and synthesizes that hcg in the urine at different rates.
I would wait until at least the day you expect your period. If it says negative and you still don't have your period, wait a few more days and retest or go to the doc for a blood test. Good luck.
P.S. Just saw your additional comments and that you are a guy..sorry you don't have periods..my mistake. As far as your girlfriend goes-a month is an average cycle. You have to know how long ago her period was and test after a month. If it has been 2-3 months, than she could be two to three months pregnant and would not have had a period during that time. I you are unsure, a smart thing for you to do would be to go with her to her first doctor appointment. If you don't trust her, you can find out when you go to the appointment.
