What you actually mean is why do men like hot women in sexy underwear? Come on now do you really need an answer to that?

Because companies like VS have invested millions into marketing research that gives them insight in what has the greatest effect on both male and female consumers. What turns men on may differ somewhat from culture to culture but it is fairly constant...men are hard wired in their brains to recognize certain body shapes, colors, sounds, etc... as erotic stimulus. VS has mastered this.
As for women consumers, the ads are more role model than sex object with the desired effect being how best to attract men and at the same time assure competitive dominance against other women. Again, VS has mastered this strategy. Women notice how mesmerized men get by the eye candy of underwear ads. It is only natural to want to emulate these girls to attract men's attention.
So the question should be, what makes the VS ads so "HOT"? Of course men like the ads, that was the intention. The why is that the images invoke an urge to mate and procreate. It is instinctual. The sight of so much skin, etc jump starts the male sex drive.

Of course, the models would have a lot to do with that, but, the revealing lingerie and nice accents on their bodies would really hit the nail on the head! Happy Holidays to everyone!

I don't, I prefer women who have some "meat" on their bones. There is nothing nastier than an exposed skeleton. To be honest, I like most of the women they have been putting on the Dove ads better! I think the campaign from Dove is called, "natural women" or something along those lines.

Like? I hate them. They annoy me almost as much as the Tag and Axe commercials. The women look ridiculous. Attractive? Yes, but I don't ogle the obnoxious, no matter how attractive.
Yes, I'm straight. I just don't care about women in panties strutting around with stupid angel wings.

Becasue there men, its just how they are. there attracted to the women on those ads becasue they have good bodies and pretty much nothing on.

I'm not a guy, I'm not bisexual, and I'm not a lesbian. I watch them and wish I had a body and face like that. They are so beautiful, I'm kind of jealous. When I see them, it gives me initiative to lose weight.
