Yes i have and it was hard to coupe with. But time heals all wounds.
The only thing we have control over is the way we respond to the things that happens around us or to us.
Its not a problem unless we see it as a problem.
Things happen for a reason.

As much as you want to forget the past, the past has made who you are. I understand what you're saying but keep this in mind. Now, I don't see the harm in moving away to clear your head and give yourself a new start. I've been fortunate to have a loving girlfriend who's been there for me through thick and thin, but there have been times when I wanted to start over. I think it's natural. I hope you find what you're looking for and make peace with your past. Not saying you are, but "running" away from your past doesn't work. It'll eventually catch up with you. Deal with whatever issues you have, then move on. You'll feel better.
Good luck

I lived a very lonely life for a few years, did some volunteer work, kept my job, paid the debts, let my mind settle down.
Eventually I integrated what happened into my personality in the form of compassion for others who suffer through such things.
As the mind changes and the present changes, so too does what the past means to us change. Nothing stays the "way it is" even for a moment.
I also took up a daily meditation practice, which has helped immensely improve my outlook.
Peace,
;-)

U forget the past by giving LESS time and effort into focusing on "how to forget it"..time heals everything, it does..and u forget and u move on. A few tips: -dont hang around sad or depressed people -excercise daily even if u dont like it -dont listen to gloomy music, always have ur favorite "happy mood songs" around -spoil urself even wth simple things -try to help others, that will allow for positive energy to come back ur way -trust that everything (especially bad things) happen for a reason..and they r usually followed by happy things..eventually -if u have close friends, stay around them and tell them that u need help to pass this phase -love urself..it all starts from within -think happy thoughts..dream..imagine...

You will never actually forget, but you will learn how to move on. As the time passes by, things start to get easier, at first it is quite difficult, just remember if you move away, you still take the problem with you.....You still have the thoughts and memories of that time you are running from.......TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME, AND FIND A NEW HOBBY TO TAKE YOUR MIND OFF THE SITUATION.......

divorce, learning to deal as a Single parent of 3 kids, lost my job of 10 years... trust me I've had my share of feeling like everything was going to fall apart. However, thru lots of prayer and support from family and friends I'm still standing. I've learned Adversity really does make you stronger. I believe God never closes one door w/out opening others. I only felt once the desire to get up and move away (when I lost my job), yet I refused to allow anything to 'control' me especially grief, fear. I haven't forgotten any of the emotions I went thru in my life, I don't dwell on them either... Its kinda cool being able to look back and see where I've been and where I am now. I agree w/ the few others that stated learn from your situation and find strength within to move forward. take care!

Ha.. you can never forget about the past.. unless you get Alzheimers. I still can't forget about my ex b/f that broke up with me 2 years ago.. And I still dream about him all the time too.. (at the same time hoping that I don't talk in my sleep and that my 'husband' doesn't find out) Just give it time and things WILL get better! Like I said.. it just takes time.. Don't give up.. be strong and enjoy the good things that you have!!!

Yes.Last year I went through hell, but now I am alright.First of all you should understand that you can't forget the past, you just have to go on with life and find peace with all that makes you like this.Life is like a puzzle and you should find the right path, just you need to be patient.I say this from experience!

Yes, that's happened to me. You don't wait to forget the past before moving on. You move on, and eventually, as you build a new life, the past fades away. Feel the fear, and do it anyway.
