Respect the young people, and realize they are the future and have a lot to offer the world.
Challenge them to learn from people who have been there and suffered. JFK, MLK, Cesar Chavez. . . Mother Teresa and even Thomas Jefferson can be a hero if you make their life vibrant and real..and something that touches their life....
Encourage them to take a stand. We need desperately citizens who care. . . who want to see life improve for all ..
Get them to participate...in school government, plays, computers, music, arts, sports, there is something for everyone....
Believe in them. They are good souls too looking to become themselves.....it's not easy to be young. There are so many big decisions you have to make, and our culture does not support the ones who don't fit the "perfect" image..which is such a pile of caca...we make up this unreachable visual image, but hey kids, go to the mall and check out the 30's something and older...these people perpetuate a myth that they can't hold up...Botox will never do it...You're young and as BEAUTIFUL and HANDSOME as you will ever be.
You better enjoy it NOW!!
