There was an asian woman who had a role as Gabrielle Solis's housemaid , and she all of a sudden disappeared from the show without any explanation , after she gave birth .

she gave birth to the wrong baby, the surrogacy clinic had implanted the wrong embryo, and the baby came out black. Since it was not their baby, they could not keep it, and they did not want to go through it again snce they were divorcing. I'm sure the housekeeper was let go, since she hated them anyway.

Well after their first season most TV series drop out characters that are not longer relevant to the main plot of the story, so this ain't unusual.

She went to a place to be artificially inciminated but she had the wrong baby and later on it just said that she went to her home country. hope that helps!
