Some Americans are aware of what's going on there too. Have you seen the movie Free Rwanda?

America is not afraid to support terrorists, as long as those terrorists are on the US side, and not against the US. The talibans in Afghanistan were armed by the US, to give you an example.
It's really sad, but it's the true. Men and women are on the other side of the world suffering and we sit on our @sses at home watching American Idol and pretending the rest of the world does not exist, because someone (the government) is taking care of the hard stuff to deal with for us. And, as you can see, they're doing a dandy job, supporting murderers and such.

It would be helpful to name sources. And to lump all Americans into one category is wrong. We are a nation of many opinions and beliefs, one of the aspects of life here that make it so attractive to emigrate here.
And I have never seen one episode of Idol, nor will I. My guilty pleasure is MXC/Takashi's Castle.

Probably because there are natural resources in Rwanda that US corporations want to exploit. Don't you know large corporations run the US government?
