You are more likely to create security in your life if you go with the 45k a year position. However, life is about being happy too and if you would be happier with a modeling career maybe you should steer yourself in that direction. You have many things to think about. It 's all about weighing your options. Twenty six is a good age (I know because I am also 26.) anyway, it is a good age because we still have some time left to decide where we want to be in life. It's not a rush. I suggest you try to figure out what is more important to you. Something you won't regret later in your life. Sometimes the highest paid jobs do not bring satisfaction or happiness to our lives. At the same time could you get a contract for the modeling position? It would be terrible if you modeled for 10-12 years or so and then one day you go to work only to find that you have been replaced by someone younger. Best of luck to you, whatever you decide.

How prospective? Any option of doing both? You are not 18 anymore and it seems like the older you get the lower your options with modeling. Unless I had something concrete, I would not risk it. Think about the long road and what if you are only making about $45 k with modeling and in 5 yrs when u can not get any more jobs with it... then what. You are not rich and you have to start all over again with your career. The biggest thing is what do you in your heart want to do. Don't just do something for the money.

Creepy. I think relationships have more to do with the stage of life you are at than actual age. So that the couple have things in common, have had time to have similar experiences eg. leave school, get your own place, whatever. What experiences will a 17 year old be able to share with a 26 year old that they would still be interested in? The 17 year old is barely grown. Something wrong there.
