Look how Chelsea turned out to have an international quality third choice goalkeeper, Hilario. Both Man U and Chelsea have lots of depth. Newcastle, who are reported to be down to 14 available players (admittedly through past waste of money on their team squad), must be very envious.

I don't know the names of the people not getting into the first teams, but I am sure that you will find details on the Man U and Chelsea websites.

what are u on about Chelsea have more good players than they know what to do with. They have 2 good players for all positions. As for Utd i think you have a point, there lack of depth will probably cost them the tittle this year. They only have Rooney and Saha who are decent strikers and in midfield there subs include the likes of Fletcher and O'Shea, only really average premiership players. Anyway i hope i am wrong cos i'd like to c utd win the tittle this year, as a yid i can;t stand Chelsea or Arsenal!!

Ferdinand - Brown, O'Shea, Bardsley, Pique
Saha - Rossi, Smith, Solskjaear, Ronaldo
Scholes - O'Shea, Fletcher, Rooney, Rose, Smith
Giggs - Fletcher, Richardson, Park

Yip, no depth at all. They may not be the best players (and I did dip into the reserves for a couple of names) but Man Utd have the cover. Yes, some of the players are on loan, but they can always be recalled if need be.

man u like every other team (other than chelsea) would suffer in that aspect
however chelsea with all their money they could deploy a full 2nd team and still finish 6th
but if it were terry, lampard and drogba chelsea would be well and truly bugered
drogba-change to 4-5-1
ballack-makalele
terry-nobody has a df to replace him fully but without gallas they have nobody with the ability/experience

Oh poor poor Chelsea.

You should be concerned with the clubs which really do have to watch their finances whilst trying to compete and field good squads.... instead of worry that the Chelksi mafia don't have enough players to cover for an injury.
