Not to rain on your parade, but this really isn't a good idea.
Live within your means, even if it means going without this year, and learning to plan better for next year.
Give gifts you make yourself ... if you dont have materials and hobbies already, then write letters, create coupons (offering to wash dishess, sweep floor, etc), go to the dollar store and see who can be most creative ....
Learning to live within your means and manage with what you have, and plan for hte future are skills that will benefit you the restr of your life. You can help your mom out by not making any demands, and by choosing to help out in any way you can.
The thing about loans is, they come back to haunt you and have to be paid back. Better to go without.

We do a few things all year:
we save out a few bucks each month, like we quit smoking, and drinking, so we can give the kids a real Christmas!
we don't deny our kids the tools of learning, going without in our own lives to prove our true love forever...
We NEVER borrow money to party, to give away as gifts!!!
We don't mortgage the house to pay for the party, the wedding, or the reception!!!
We don't buy toys or groceries on CREDIT!
It is all called PLANNING for the future, planning for an emergency!
We keep about $3,000 in savings at all times. Some friends keep $12,000 in the bank!
have your mommy go get a better job, get one of your own, or, just buckle down and live with REALITY! That is the only way to be prepared for NEXT year!
