"She Let Herself Go" - George Strait
"Kerosene" - Miranda Lambert
"Jezebel" - Chely Wright
"Sin Wagon" / "Goodbye Earl" / "Ready to Run" - Dixie Chicks
Those are just a few off the top of my head. "Kerosene" is especially good for driving at top speed with the windows down and singing your lungs out.

Days Go By, Keith Urban
is the first one that jumps off my brain. I know there's more, but I can't think straight today.

I would suggest gospel-country, if anything. I can't be specific.
Most CW is depressing and all about life's travails, which she is experiencing, so I suggest finding something outside of CW.

I don't think that I would be going for a country song if she is needing something to chear her up.

Have her watch Toby Keith's "A little Too Late" video.
At least it should make her smile.
