A family member of one of the contestants died. It came up at the end of the credits. I hope this has answered your question.

The show is recorded two months in advance.
However, today's contestant has since had a death in the family, and the funeral is due to be either today or Monday.
And they were unable to show the next show in the sequence because in that show someone wins the £250,000, and that would have put the shows 'all outta whack'.
I'm sure Noel will explain all this in due course.

Perhaps today was meant to be when the person who won £250,000 was on it, but they're saving that show for next year some time. So they put on a repeat instead.

Doubtless you will be told in great detail by Noel Edmonds either on Sunday or on Monday, or both.
