Economical is a good thing to look for, but you don't want to buy something because it's cheaper when it doesn't really work as well. I have tried the wax strips and it only takes some hairs off and it hurts. I'm currently using the bottle of wax i bought at Sally's and it works really good. It is sticky, and it hurts, but it works! And it's not expensive. NOTE: if you buy a bottle of box, you really have to test and see which one works for you. Different people have different hair types. Some waxes don't work on certain hair types. Keep that in mind!!

well ive tried both, since i love to wax, but i always get a rash after i use the strips so i started to use the normal wax that u nead with your hands and its way more better than the strips, but for you since your asking of the 2 when i was pregnant since i could not reach in alot of places and i used wax strips they were easier to put on and pull and they cleaned really well (LESS MESS) good luck

waxing is a waste of time in my opinion. if u have a hundred bucks now, u can buy the emjoi optima from sharper image. it is a little machine that u use to remove hair from the roots. u pay for it once, and it lasts a lifetime. u dont have to wait til ur hair grows a friggin inch like u got to do with waxing strips. i use it for my legs, arms, underamrs. hair doesnt grow back for quite a while... best of luck to u..

i dunno which one is better, but if i had to pick, i'd say the strips. precision without the mess.
