Good question...I'm in Austin and there aren't any. I think it's due to the football team in Dallas...what's their name again? It could also be the idiot sitting in Washington giving that perception.

So true! There aren't very many cowboys in Houston either...this is the 4th largest city in the country and everyone thinks we're a bunch of hicks!. I don't own a horse or an oil field or even a pick-up truck.btw...Houston is bigger than Philadephia or Detroit or Miami or San Francisco or San Diego or Boston....the list goes on.
