What do you think about the impacts of gender inequality in healthcare ??

Many women are perscribed drugs that are actually tested on men, or given doses that are more conducive to male physiology. People get inadequate care. Also, it's total BS when an insurance refuses to cover birth control pills, but it covers viagara! How unfair is that?

Interesting, I think that because there are certain cultural taboos associated with hospital visits that it is nuts. I think from my POV, men suffer the most due to this false perception of macho and refuse treatment. I've worked with foreign born people and it gets worse. Gender inequalities get solved with education. No amount of funding for such initiatives will motivate people to seek treatment.

Keep in mind that gender is a societal construct, unlike sex which is the actual physical identifying genitalia of the body. Gender is a label, much like a political party. Inequality is the result of unstable, corrupt capitalism. Welcome to America.
