What kind of tank do we need that will spray the washer water on our yard instead of connecting the washer line to our Spetic System. Thanks.

in some ways this is called 'french draining' and is moreover illegal.
if i were of a mind to do this deal, and had a Lil grade to my lawn, I'd hide a dwv line in my lawn bed in the bushes, about 1 1/2" line and drill holes in the pipe all along in one side.
big enough to allow debris to escape (or use a catch within) and not clog up the holes...it'll drain into the pipe and distribute along a line and seep into the lawn w/o detection or flooding.
the spray deal sounds like you want another job to watch daily.
the siphon way is best as all you need to do is tape up the entry at the pipe in the house, and again at the pipe in the bush at the entry. cap off the end of the 20' pipe and when the washer is in its rinse spin cycle, it'll force the water out and through the pipes & holes and wah-la, watered lawn.
as for septics they were built to receive all the water you can use in a day, it assists in the cleaning of the lines and decomposing of the fecal matter.
in the old days septics were used for black waste and cesspools were used for greywaters...now they've joined them and it works better this was for the life of the 1100gal tanks.
I think your trying to conserve and get a few uses of the water with one cost.
like killing 2 bird with 1 stone.
I do it on the farm in places, but its not advertised.

Interesting question!

The septic system is sized to accept laundry wash water, although it is better if you do not do all the loads on the same day.

If you want to water your lawn, assuming local regs permit this, the size of the tank must be such that the water does not remain in it more than 24 hours, otherwise you have created a second, unpermitted septic tank. There is also the minor issue of placing a screen to catch the hairs & fibers so that they do not clog the distibution pipe or the sprayers.

Good Luck!

;-)
