Apparantly so. www.activemanukahoneyusa.com says that it is safe to be eaten/used by pregnant women.

I'd really check with your GP though, just to be on the safe side. x

I'm glad I saw this question - my husband came home with a pot of this honey today! I am in my third course of chemotherapy and suddenly thought - hell, should I eat this stuff. Anyway it looks OK from the web site given by one of your answerers! You should check at your local health food store - they probably have more information than your GP

apparently it is ok though not recommened for children under 1 as it may contain the deadly bacteria Chlostridium. i think that is enough information for me not to consume it whilst pregnant its not worth the risk
