Where is the next generations Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, or Joe Perry? Please don't let rock and roll go the way of the dinosaur people!!!

You gotta love it when you hear a $300 P.O.S. rattling to the tune of that crap played on a $1000 stereo. I can't wait til the bumper falls off.

These wannabe "G"s are in for a very rude awakening.
I think it is degrading.

Huh? don't be so self conscious! hear to even though you decide on no person is going to call you a wigger Geto Boys, Nas, Wu-Tang, Jay-Z, Biggie, Dr. Dre i'm listening to impressive now and that i'm WHITE, no longer a wigger the two i like rock and u . s . a . too. What do you mean "poetic" variety of hip hop besides? like blacks do no longer hear to that? EDIT to show out that I merely study your profile and you're Asian and you like rap and use the slang. by your good judgment what would that make you, a chigger?

I was born in 1940, and when Elvis Presley showed up, my parents thought it was surely a sign of the end of the world. When I later first heard acid rock, I was worried that the brains of our youth would certainly turn to mush. Moving up quickly in time to rap music, my current thoughts are that it's the work of criminals who've found something legal to do to earn money, but nonetheless still keep up with crime through doing drugs, and shooting each other (killing the competition).

What are my thoughts on what we (you and me) should do about all of this? Well, you should pop a cool one (a brew), sit back, relax, and listen to the music you love at a tolerable volume. As for me, I should poor myself a glass of milk (to help fight osteoporosis), sit back, relax, and listen to the music I love at a tolerable volume.

The truth be known, all the weirdest and loudest music, both irritants to me, won't have much effect on the world, except make some performers rich, and give kids something to do while they grow out of their insane teen years to become (in spite of it all) responsible adults (like you and me).

Like some DJs say, don't worry, be happy.

i am 66 years old, and if you think that anything played after the 50's is "rock n'roll" you are living in a dream world.. We played it on our AM radios just as loud as it would go, but we didn't have the fancy equipment they have today, although i remember there was something called a "reverberator" that was mounted in the trunk and when used would give an echo effect to the music.. Anyway, rock 'n roll died as far as i'm concerned when the 60's came..Anything after that was either acid rock, soft rock or pop...just the opinion of an old man, "I was there, and that's the way i remember it"..

Are you saying that white people shouldn't be allowed to listen to 'black music'? How very narrow minded you are. Who do you think influenced the guitarists you cited? Without 'black music' there would be no rock 'n' roll. Grow up!

I like all kinds of music so I agree rock-n-roll should stay, but why are you drawing color lines in music. I don't see how you're gonna encourage people who listen to hip-hop, to also give rock-n-roll a try when you call one of their fave genres crap? I own hip-hop,rap, classical, pop, reggae, dancehall, rock, metal, country, etc. But I don't think you're opening any minds with your negativity.

Everyone is entitled to their own taste in music, and even though I love rock I can still respect that. Maybe instead of getting so pissed while you're trying to save rock, you should work on killing racism and stereotyping.

I'm asking why people like Justin Timberlake have to go to to people like TImberland ( an African-American dude) to make GOod Music, rather than sticking to his own style instead of borrowing it from a different culture.

Happiness is a decision. You can never control another's actions, but you do control your reaction to them. Choose wisely.
