why does it hurt when you have intercourse for the first time?

A couple of reasons, first is your hymen. It is a thin membrane inside your vagina. When you have sex, this membrane is broken, and there is some bleeding, hence the term 'pooped my cherry'
Also, your vaginal open is quite small, at first, if you've ever masturbated, you probably had trouble getting two fingers inside you. A penis is usually much bigger than just 2 fingers. But after a few times, the vaginal walls will stretch, and allow just about anything inside. Remember, a baby needs to come out of there, so it will stretch quite a bit, it just takes time.
The last, and probably most important reason, is to make sure you wait for the right person. It is going to hurt the first time, and probably be a little sore for the next 3 or 4 times. You need to make sure the guy your giving your cherry to, is worth the pain you will experience.

A thin layer of skin (hyman) gets torn. Plus you're more than likely being stretched.
It hurts like hell the first time and will probably still hurt the next few times.

Because you are not as experienced as you are in the next if you choose to have another intercourse.

Maybe you should ask your mom or something.........how old are you, maybe you shouldnt' be having intercourse at this time.
