there is a smell coming from my integra. smells like burning rubber. i had my timing belt replaced a while ago, but i don't think thats whats causing this smell. so, any suggestions before i take it to a mechanic?

MOST PEOPLE WHO COMPLAIN OF A BURNING RUBBER SMELL HAVE AN OIL LEAK ON THIER ENGINE,THERE ARE CAM AND CRANK SEALS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CHANGED W/PERFORMING A TIMING BELT SERVICE
I WOULD HAVE A SERVICE TECH LOOK FOR AN OIL LEAK

maybe u ran over a bag or something and its stuck under to car... i would take it in... just in case

c if any wire touches the engine or the exahust pipe
