Girl in my grade...she shows off and gloats a lot what do i do about it???

when she does this she makes others feel bad including me sometimes because she tells us that we could never do what she does...i was thinking about tlking to a teacher...should i?

Everyplace u go u'll find ppl as u say who seeks attention, 4 dealing with those ppl u would have 2 speak with 2 much courage cause they r always popular in the place where they r, so if u think u can deal with her without losing anyfriends or being that jealous girl in others eye, go 4 it. but if u can't do this just act as if she doesn't even exist ans try 2 make her feel unimportant and always be sure of urself and never care 4 anything she and her stupid say and always stick 2 ur friends.

There are always going to be people like that; not only throughout school but in the workforce aswell. They feel they need to be under the spotlight and the prime source of focus all the time. However, she's also being incredibly immature. No one likes people who boast or make themselves appear "better" than others. The best possible thing you could do is nothing. Ignore her, and don't let her gloating get to you. When she grows up, she'll realise she's not all that.

Hehe, I had the same problem, but with a guy back in 6th grade. He was always gloating about whatever he wanted, so I payed my friend $10 to pants him (that is, pull down his pants) in front of every guy and girl in the gym. Everyone laughed and he started crying. He never gloated again. You might wanna try to do something like that. It's seriously worth it, but if you want someone else to do it for you, it'll cost ya. Oh, and it might give your friend a black eye, just btw...

PS: Ignoring her does not work, it'll only get you more angry

This will all come back to bite her in due time. You, however, must take the high road and not call her out, talk about her behind her back, or make fun of her when this does come back around. Understand that people who behave like her usually have low self-esteem (for whatever reason...bad home life, something has happened to them in the past), and they do this to make themselves feel better. It's all pretty subconscious..in other words, they don't necessarily realize they're doing it, and why.

Nothing. Realize that she does it because she feels inadequate for whatever personal reasons she has.
If you really want to do something, then try and be her friend. Find out what it is that bothers her deep down and help her with it. If she's not the type that will be friends with you, then don't sweat it. You can't save the world, only those that will reach out for help.

Ignore it there is not alot that you can do about somebody else showing off all that you can do is live your own life and do what you choose don't worry about what other people are doing or saying. Because you get older you are going to have to live your own life and there is not going to be anybody there to always help you.

Well, I would just ingore it, she is trying to get attention, and we all know where she is going to end up at...the go go foxy ladies go club. You should be worrying about yourself and how you carry youself. Don't worry about it, BOYS like that in a girl when she gloats a lot, but MEN like a girl when they truly are themselves.
