Is there any way that you could possibly to both?
I was working as a registered nurse. While studying to become a nurse Practitioner. I am glad that I did because it allows me a lot of room for advancement with the company I am with. Or another company should I wish to change jobs.
I know the promotion is really great. And I am happy for you.
But I would suggest that if you can not work and still study for your advanced diploma. That you pass on the promotion. I think you will find your self in a better position in the end.
Good Luck
Kali :-)

Take a look at the pros/cons, off the top of my head I would say that the experience of being a manager while still working toward your degree will eventually be a powerful combination on your resume. Additionally, your employer may have tuition reimbursement which could go a long way to reducing long-term college debt.
I wish you luck, sounds like you are off to a good start!

If the pay raise and the additional work is worth you putting in the time and effort to get your advanced diploma, I'd go for it. GOOD LUCK!

You should accept the promotion, but make sure they understand you still need time for your diploma studies.

You can go to school at night. I got a 2nd and 3rd degree while working full time during the day and school at night. The company paid for it and I did it for fun.

I think that if you want to be a manager, a decision maker, you should turn off caps lock, it is too strident,
and put two columns on a paper, one pro, one con, and make up your own mind.

Will it stop you from getting the advanced degree or just slow you down?
Does the extra pay help?
it's really up to you to judge.
