Simple answer. It's not designed for veggie oil; despite what others might say, it will ruin your engine over time. Go back to the recommended formulations and it will run fine.

Probably becuse it wasn't de-gummed properly. Straight veggie oil will ruin a diesel; it has to be de-gummed and de-waxed first.

Because the chemical mix is not so volatile try mixing some diesel with it
