To do so while still seeing him professionally is a breech of professional ethics on his part. This is written in a code of conduct for his profession.
To do so afterwards still calls into question his judgement about you as a client - if he allows himself to entertain such possibilities with you, then hasn't he comprimised his professional judgement by already allowing his personal agenda & personal pleasure to enter the picture (which is why it is unethical to go out with clients) and therefore put his own desires ahead of your welfare, which is not what you paid him to do?
Either way, this stinks.
Sorry, friend. Wikijo has no personal agenda & nothing invested here; his advice is to get as far away from the shrink as fast as possible - there are lots of shrinks, & lots of decent guys out there who do have some integrity, and won't use their clients to suit their own personal purposes.
Think about it.

No, and your "shrink" should not ask you out: it is a professional "no NO"

id say no definitely no,one because he knows way too much about you , and could very easily manipulate you. also he would always be anylizing you and every situation, too me id think that would be enough in itself to not do it, but you shoudl pray about it, i mean if you believe in God , i dont mean to be pushy or anything but if i dont know the answer to a question like this i try to trust in him, he will lead you better than any of us!!!
