We could take control, make all the Iraq people who wanted to stay US Citizens as well.
Think about it...yeah sure there will be ugly things going on for awhile, but pretty soon after a few decades it would look like Nevada.

I think it's really good idea,
let's take for example Saudi Arabia, where Bin laden born,
it's really one of the US states, i don't mean it's American one, but if you look for the Saudi policy, THEY ARE US ALLIES, special prices for oil sold for America, special treatment for American people for those working there, never objection for America will of what they want be in Saudi Arabia, they even changed their educational policy to satisfy America. So where is the problem if this was the idea followed in Iraq, I don't know.

Naw..
We are the only country in the history of the world, to actually end up with less land than previous per a war or conflict.
We did so in WWII not keeping land that we actually won in WWII.
We would litterarlly be the largest population & land mass country in the world if we had kept what we won in WWII.

ok the only problem with your theory is this. It is way too far from us to actually turn it into a state, and on top of that, Syria and Iran would never let us hold on to Iraq. Plus the Iraqi people dont want us there either. It wouldn't work out.

I think this idea is dumb. because iraq has there own future not americas future. Making something ours when it doesnot belong to us is wrong. how about we make your house a free place to live for muslums.
