I have seen so many people slamming the Wii because it is not the most powerful system to date. Who cares? It is unique and that is its appeal. Any die hard gamer would play RPGs and Shooters on a computer anyway because you can upgrade every year as opposed to once a decade. I have ben using the graphics that PS3 achieves for a year now on my dual core AMD with 2GB of Ram and 512 MB graphics card. Get a life? I got a Wii because it looks interesting and is reasonably priced for a console. It is a new type of system, and not just an upgraded PS2 (it is truly revolutionary!)

Let me see, I have little to know preference between the console wars, but I think it's funny that you talk about upgrading a PC every year compared to every decade for a console and then go on to state a Wii is reasonably priced. Upgrading a PC every year over the 10 year lifespan of the console (yes, these numbers are exagerated, but I am using the ones you gave me) would cost you the same as buying all three systems over the same 10 years (more actually if you consider the consoles will have price drops). That is why more people buy consoles over computers, one reason anyway, even though computers are capable of more, the lifespan is far less.

Why doesn't everyone stop bashing any system. Hopefully by christmas 2007, I'll have all 3 next-gen systems. I work hard, and can afford it. I think the Wii is very innovative. Both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 are very technologically advanced, and all three have exclusive games that I want. I haven't been able to get a really good PC to play any onlline games. But I willl.
